Art Exhibit | Poles Apart: Poland's Culture Wars

Almost three decades after the successful transition to democracy, Polish society is torn apart by growing political polarization and conflicts. In recent years, millions of Poles took to the streets to express opposing views about the country's politics, history and future. In this exhibit, five Warsaw-based photographers of the NAPO Images agency document the deep chasm and clashes of political visions pitting Poland's traditional values and a nationalistic identity against modern liberal ideas and a European identity. For more information, see the exhibit page.
