The community of scholars at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) includes visiting scholars and fellows from Europe, the United States, and other parts of the globe. They participate in CES activities and engage in the intellectual life of CES through seminars, discussions with faculty, and student engagement. CES provides fellows with the resources of Harvard to help advance their academic and professional goals.
Fellows
- The Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) welcomes Visiting Scholars each year who spend from three months to a year in residence at the Center while working on research projects focusing on contemporary European politics, economics, and history.
- CES offers the opportunity to fund leading social scientists from Germany and the EU to participate in the Visiting Scholars Program through three fellowships: The John F. Kennedy Memorial Fellowship, the German Kennedy Memorial Fellowship, and the Ramón Areces Fellowship.
- Each year, CES invites distinguished academics, journalists, and public servants as John F. Kennedy Memorial Policy Fellows for short stays during the academic year.
- The Center regularly hosts distinguished academics, journalists and public servants as CES Policy Fellows.
- Non-resident Senior Fellows, who hail from academia, business, government and the policy arena, serve as strategic advisors to CES and help advance its mission to stimulate new thinking and research on Europe.
