About

The Berggruen Institute on Governance (BIG) invites the Harvard community to follow a special live stream at CES of its "Project Europe" Conference.

Organized in partnership with the Government of Spain, this conference takes place on February 27-28 in Madrid and brings together European leaders to discuss Europe’s current challenges and opportunities.

Agenda highlights (full details here):

  • 10:20 AM: Live address by Enrico Letta, former Prime Minister of Italy, on "The Impact of populism on growth prospects for EU"
  • 1:30 PM: Live address by Felipe González, former Prime Minister of Spain, and Mario Monti, former Prime Minister of Italy, on "A vision and roadmap for Europe."

“Project Europe” is the third Town Hall style conference in a series organized as part of BIG’s Council for the Future of Europe (CFE), which promotes a common European discourse on the design of a federal political union and proposes the steps necessary to achieve a stronger, more resilient union.

Livestream at CES is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
