As Assistant to the Directors, Laura manages administrative, operational, and programmatic support for the directors of the Center. This includes coordination and support for the Center’s Steering Committee, the Director’s Lecture Series, and other small and major events. As Program Assistant, Laura manages the Research Assistantship Program at the Center, helps to organize the planning and implementation around the Visiting Scholars Program and other short-term visitors, and manages the application and renewal process for Faculty and Local Affiliates, Senior Fellows, and Graduate Student Affiliates of the Center. Laura actively engages with students of the Harvard community and other professional schools regarding event collaboration and networking opportunities. She is currently working toward completing her ALB at the Harvard Extension School, where she is focusing on International Relations and Journalism. She plans to attend graduate school to earn her ALM in either International Relations or Government. Laura comes to the Center from the Harvard School of Public Health, where she worked in grants administration for the largest grant in Harvard’s history, PEPFAR (President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief).
