This event will highlight recent changes in the Eurozone decision-making processes and governance as a response to the European crisis.
About
Mr. Almunia will analyze the role that the European Central Bank, the European Council, the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund and other national monetary authorities have played during the economic crisis. He will also examine some of the key challenges confronting the European Monetary Union governance and the perceived lack of efficiency in the orthodox austerity measures that represent some of the deepest public sector cuts.
