This is the second of two panels examining the current constitutional crisis in Spain. Calls for a referendum on Catalan secession from Spain reflect a combination of domestic and European dynamics. This panel will explore how the domestic political factors in Spain interact with centrifugal forces in the EU and the significance of the situation in Spain holds for broader European developments.
The first panel in the series takes place on March 7th, entitled “Catalonia and the Constitutional Crisis in Spain.”
This series is given generous funding from the Real Colegio Complutense, the Elcano Royal Institute and Prince of Asturias Chair at Tufts University.
