About

The significance of the distinction between opinion and truth is laid out in the dialogues of Plato’s Republic Book V. Focusing on the case of Turkey, this seminar will underline how rising authoritarian regimes are blurring the distinction between opinion and expert knowledge while at the same time engaging in policies that curb free speech.
