Daniela Luigia Caglioti

Biography

Caglioti is associate professor of modern and contemporary European history at the University of Naples Federico II. She received a Ph.D. from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Recently she published Vite parallele: Una minoranza protestante nell’Italia dell’800 (Bologna, 2006) and edited a special issue of The Journal of Modern Italian Studies on Elite Migrations in Modern Italy (2008/2). Caglioti is currently working on a project on enemy aliens and the changing notion of citizenship during and after World War I. She will be in residence at CES during the spring semester 2009.
