Pascal Brice is the head of the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons (Office française de protection des réfugiés et apatrides, OFPRA) since 2012. He has been working on the ongoing migratory and asylum crisis in France, Europe and around the Mediterranean. In this presentation, Brice will share lessons learned from the actions of OFPRA during this crisis in France, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will share his thoughts and analysis about the needs, difficulties and challenges of national, European and international policies for refugees and migrants, taking into account the global international political debate about refugees.
