The Europe on Credit series is a joint venture between CES and the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF), conceptualized and directed by Mary Lewis, Robert Walton Goelet Professor of French History and CES Resident Faculty, and Emmanuel Bouju, Senior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France. In a year-long series of events, Lewis and Bouju will bring together financial experts, literary scholars, historians and social scientists to examine the connection between public finance and narratives of indebtedness and creditworthiness. The keynote address by Benoît Cœuré is the inaugural event of this series.
A reception will follow in the CES Atrium.
