About

Customers worldwide are increasingly willing to buy products with the “Made in Poland” label. The rapid growth of the Polish economy has influenced the evolution of Polish design in furniture, fashion and consumer goods. However, conquering world markets was not always effortless for Polish designers. For a better understanding of new trends and how Polish designers have established themselves successfully on international markets, we cordially invite you to take part in the lecture “Creative Poland.”

Urszula Gacek was elected to the Polish Senate in 2005. In 2007, she became a Member of the European Parliament. She served as a Member of the Committee for Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and of the Sub-committee on Security and Defense. Between February 2011 and November 2014, she acted as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France. On 21 December, 2014, she took up the post of Poland’s Consul General in New York.
