The European Conference has steadily grown into one of HKS's largest student-run conferences, welcoming members of government, civil society and business from Europe, the United States, and across the world. Last year's conference featured over 400 participants and speakers such as Anders Fogh Rasmussen (12th President of NATO and former Prime Minister of Denmark), Tarja Halonen (former President of Finland), Dimitris Avramopoulos (European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship), and Viviane Reding (MEP, former VP of the European Commission for justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship).
