Yves Cohen is a professor of history and director of the Centre de Recherches Historiques at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). His focus is the study of “influence practices,” consisting of 20th century concepts such as marketing, public relations, advertising, and social psychology.
At CES, Cohen will research the development of marketing and public relations “influence practices” during the 20th century. He will focus on France, Russia, Brazil, and the United States and study the social psychology practices as a whole.
