Noah Daponte-Smith is a Ph.D. student in government at Harvard University. His research focuses on politics in advanced democracies, with an emphasis on historical and contemporary Europe. He is interested in federalism and decentralization, the evolution of European party systems, and various forms of populism and regionalism. Before coming to Harvard, he completed a B.A. in history and political science at Yale University.
