Max Goplerud is a PhD student in government at Harvard University and Co-Chair of the CES Event Series on Populism, Nationalism and Radical Politics. His research focuses on legislative politics in advanced democracies as well as topics in political methodology including "text-as-data" and ideal point estimation. His work attempts to synthesize perspectives from Europe and the United States to better understand MPs behavior as well as intra-party dynamics across diverse national contexts. He is an affiliate of the Canada Program at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs.
