Kaila Howell is a PhD student in the History of Art & Architecture department at Harvard University. Her research focuses on landscape and the intersections between art and the environment from the Enlightenment to now, with a particular interest in Romanticism and its legacies. Prior to matriculating at Harvard, Kaila received a B.A. in Rhetoric, French, and Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
