Kaila Howell is a Ph.D. student in the History of Art and Architecture Department at Harvard University. Her research focuses on landscape
and the intersections between art and the environment from the Enlightenment to now, with a particular interest in Romanticism and its
legacies. Prior to matriculating at Harvard, Kaila received a B.A. in rhetoric, French, and comparative literature from the University of
California, Berkeley.
