BreAnne Fleer is a Ph.D. student in political science at MIT. Her research lies at the intersection of historical political economy and mass political participation, with a focus on land politics and the roots of nationalism in Western Europe. Fleer graduated from Cornell University with a BA in government, magna cum laude, and French. She also worked for two years as a research support associate.
