After a Master's degree in European Studies from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, following her passion for both politics and Europe, Anne-Christine Desnuelle started working as advisor for French Members of the European Parliament in 2005.
Since 2008, Anne-Christine has joined the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) in the European Parliament as policy advisor. Anne-Christine advises Members of the European Parliament on Industry, Research and Energy committee and specializes in the telecom and digital issues. Recent legislations Anne-Christine has worked on include: the European single market for electronic communications and the telecom market design. Previously, she advised Members of the European Parliament's ALDE Group on EU's Transport policy including work on liberalisation of the railway market and passengers rights in all modes of transports. Her responsibilities consist of drafting ALDE position papers, plenary resolutions, tabling of amendments to reports, recommendations and opinions.
Anne-Christine is also playing an active role in following the ALDE Delegation to the African Caribbean Pacific-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly, which includes several travels per year to meet with various responsible politicians of those countries.
