Ailish Lalor is a Ph.D. student in history at Harvard University. She works on 20th-century Dutch environmental, maritime, and colonial history. Her essays have been published in the European Review of Books and The Preserve Journal.
Before coming to Harvard, Ailish completed a BA and M.A. at Leiden University.
At the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES), Lalor chairs the Environmental Histories of Europe Seminar.
