James McSpadden

James McSpadden is a PhD student in modern European history at Harvard University and Coordinator of the CES Seminar New Directions in European History at CES. His primary research interest focuses on democratic institutions and political culture in German-speaking Europe, the Netherlands, and Czechoslovakia. His work explores not only political relationships within nations but also transnational connections among politicians during this era of intense social and political polarization.
