Stefan A. Schirm is Professor of Political Science at the Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, where he holds the Chair of International Politics. He has taught at the Universities of Munich and Stuttgart and served as John F. Kennedy Memorial Fellow at the Center for European Studies, Harvard University, and as Robert Schuman Fellow at the European University Institute. His research focuses on (de-)globalisation, global economic governance and world order, on British, German and US economic policy, and on the Societal Approach to International Political Economy. His work appeared, inter alia, in Cambridge Review of International Affairs, European Journal of International Relations, German Politics, Journal of Contemporary European Studies, Review of International Studies, International Political Science Review, European Review of International Studies, and Politics.
