Eleni Arzoglou is a PhD student in sociology at Harvard University. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the UK, Germany, South Africa, and India. She arrived at sociology via economics and international relations. Currently undertaking research on identification with Europe among elites, her preliminary study was conducted through in-depth interviews with EU Commission officials. Broadly, she is interested in the intersection of political and cultural sociology, particularly in the context of the European Union.
