David Art is professor of political science at Tufts University, where he teaches courses on European politics and comparative politics.
Art is the author of Inside the Radical Right: The Development of Anti-Immigrant Parties in Western Europe (2011) and The Politics of the Nazi Past in Germany and Austria (2006). His articles have been published in Comparative Politics, Party Politics, Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, German Politics and Society, and West European Politics. He is the co-convenor of the European Consortium for Political Research’s Standing Group on Extremism and Democracy.
At the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies, he chairs the European Politics Seminar.
