One year into the
COVID-19 pandemic, it is time to take stock of the responses of the EU and its member-states.
This seminar will consider the economic
initiatives to combat the pandemic’s deleterious
effects at both EU and national levels. It will also assess the EU’s institutional negotiations and the member-state
politics involved. The panel will focus on Italy specifically to illustrate the latest controversy surrounding the vaccine roll-out across the European Union.
