Thomas is a rising junior in
Cabot House from Lesbos, a little Greek island that has recently been the main
port of entry to the European Continent for refugees fleeing from the Syrian
Civil War. From a very young age, he has avidly enjoyed participating in
debates over social policy and international issues. A fan of cultural
differences, he came to Harvard because he wished to be immersed in an
environment where people from all over the world mix in a fruitful exchange of
ideas and experiences. He is very involved with the international community, in
and outside the European Society. In his free time, he loves engaging in lively
discussions on philosophy and the arts.
