Elias is a junior who grew up arguing taxation and European integration in the cafes of Helsinki, Finland. At Harvard he studies applied mathematics and occupies himself as a research assistant in the Economics Department. In addition to serving as the president of the European Horizons, Elias volunteers as a student leader in the international students' pre-orientation program and is heavily involved in the community activities of Lowell House.
