Biography

Bruno Palier

Bruno Palier is CNRS research director at Sciences Po, Centre d'Études Européennes. Trained in social science, he has a PhD in political science. Between 2007 and 2011, he was the scientific coordinator of a European Network of Excellence RECWOWE (Reconciling Work and Welfare, involving thirty European research institutions or Universities and one hundred and ninety researchers from nineteen European countries). He is currently working on national growth and welfare state reforms. His project aims at conceptualizing and analyzing the relationships between capitalist production regimes, economic strategies, and social policy developments. In 2012, he co-edited The Age of Dualization: The Changing Face of Inequality in Deindustrializing Societies and Towards a social investment welfare state? Ideas, Policies and Challenges.
