Łukasz Wardyn (Ph.D., 2009) is a policy officer at the European Commission in the Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities. He published his book Regionale Staatlichkeit und Dezentralisationin Polen und Deutschland. Eine Darstellung am Beispielder Gemeinschaftsinitiative INTERREG III (The regional state and devolution in a centralised and a federalist state Poland and Germany and the regional policy of the EU) (ISBN 978-3-8258-1962-0), (2008). He has been working for the Kozminski University in Warsaw lecturing on International and European Law. His research project at CES entitled, "Minority Rights and Multiculturalism in the EU and the United States," aims to evaluate the political and social aspects of the EU and US legal systems of minority rights protection.
