Eglene is visiting assistant professor of political science at Middlebury College, where she teaches courses on European politics and transatlantic relations. She received a Ph.D. in political science with a distinguished doctoral dissertation award from the State University of New York at Albany in 2006. Her research interests center around European integration, namely in the areas of economic and monetary policy. Her current project is a longitudinal study of the preferences and lobbying activities of the British business and financial sectors on the issue of euro membership. She will be in residence at CES through the 2009 spring semester.
