Sarah Shortall

Shortall’s research interests lie in the field of modern European intellectual history, with a particular focus on twentieth-century France, Catholic thought, and avant-garde literature. Her dissertation will engage the growing interdisciplinary literature on political theology, by exploring the intersections between twentieth-century French Catholic theology, and broader developments in French philosophy and politics during this period.
