Biography

Joanna Didi Kuo

Kuo's research interests include election fraud and clientelism, political parties, and electoral institutions. Her dissertation looks at the decline of corrupt practices in advanced democracies. She graduated from Emory University in 2005 with bachelor's degrees in political science and history. As a Marshall Scholar, she received a master of science in economic and social history from Oxford University, and a master's degree in politics from the University of Essex.
