Sadie Polen is Assistant to the Directors at the Center for European Studies. She received her BS from the University of California, Davis and spent the final 6 months of her undergraduate career studying abroad at the University of Ghana. Her degree in Community and Regional Development facilitated a diverse field of study, ranging from farm-to-school programs in California to reproductive health knowledge in Ghana. Since graduating she has traveled extensively while continuing her involvement with community related projects. At the Center, another place with an extensive breadth of activities and interests, she works with graduate and undergraduate students, affiliates, visiting scholars, faculty and special visitors.
