Anu Bradford will discuss the European Union’s open strategic autonomy – a concept that originated in the area of foreign and security policy, but has become highly relevant for the development of trade and digital regulation. Bradford will explore the implications of this concept on the Brussels’ effect, which could be defined as the European Union’s unilateral ability to regulate the global marketplace.
