September 27, 2022
6:00pm - 7:00pm
This session will address questions such as the scope, the purpose, and the structure of the senior thesis. It will focus on strategies for developing a good topic (finding a manageable and interesting question and case selection).
Writing a senior thesis can be a daunting task. For Harvard College students interested in writing a senior thesis, the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) offers the Thesis Workshop for Juniors to navigate this process. The sessions are designed to build fundamental skills for writing a successful thesis and offer a chance to learn from seniors completing their projects. All sessions are open to Harvard College students, especially juniors, intending to write theses in the social sciences, irrespective of geographic or subject-area focus.
