Barbara Engelking and Jan Grabowski will discuss their book Night Without an End: The Fate of Jews in Selected Counties of Occupied Poland (Polish Center for Holocaust Research, 2018) and the reasons why their research triggered a hostile reaction from the Polish state. They will discuss the challenges facing scholars of the Holocaust in today’s Poland and the details of the court case which triggered international interest.
