For Harvard College students interested in writing on a Europe-focused topic, the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) offers a series of workshops to guide them through the process.

Writing a senior thesis can be a daunting task. The sessions are designed to build fundamental skills for writing a successful thesis, offer a chance to learn from seniors completing their projects, and are led by Hannah Callaway and Michael Tworek.

Session 2: Research Resources, Advisors and Recommendation Letters, will provide students who have decided to write a senior thesis with invaluable advice on:

  • accessing the rich Europe-focused resources through Harvard's library system.
  • using effective strategies for requesting letters of recommendation.
  • finding the right thesis adviser to guide a thesis project.

All sessions are open to Harvard College students, preferably Juniors, irrespective of geographic- or subject-area focus.
