For Harvard College students interested in writing on a Europe-focused topic, the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) offers a series of workshops to guide them through the process.

Writing a senior thesis can be a daunting task. The sessions are designed to build fundamental skills for writing a successful thesis, offer a chance to learn from seniors completing their projects, and are led by Hannah Callaway and Michael Tworek.

Session 1: What is a Thesis, will address questions such as the scope, the purpose, and the structure of the senior thesis. It will focus on strategies for developing a good topic (finding a manageable and interesting question and case selection) as well as finding an advisor.

All sessions are open to Harvard College students, preferably Juniors, irrespective of geographic- or subject-area focus.
