João Gomes Cravinho is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal. Before that, Cravinho held the posts of Minister of National Defence (2018-2022) and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (2005-2011). He was also EU Ambassador to India (2011-2015) and to Brazil (2015-2018). Cravinho holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Oxford University and both Master and Undergraduate degrees from the London School of Economics.
