Sophie Hill

Sophie Hill is a Ph.D. student in government at Harvard University. Her research lies in comparative politics and political economy, with a regional focus on Western Europe. In particular, she is interested in populism, blame attribution, and the politics of redistribution. She is a graduate student affiliate of the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University, and a doctoral fellow in the Harvard Inequality & Social Policy program.

Prior to joining the doctoral program, Hill spent two years working in financial markets in London. She received her undergraduate degree in mathematics & philosophy from the University of Oxford and she holds an M.A. in political science from Columbia University.
