Sophia Anastazievsky is a Ph.D. student in government at Harvard University, specializing in political theory. Her primary research focus is on the ethics of war and theories of value in international relations, with broader interests across moral, legal, and political philosophy. She has also presented and published research on the moral and legal dimensions of Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine and taught a course on war ethics at the Kyiv School of Economics. Previously, Anastazievsky worked as a research assistant to Pablo de Greiff of the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine.
