Ditmir Bushati is a Member of Parliament of Albania since 2009. Currently, he is Special Envoy of the OSCE Chairperson in Office. Bushati is the head of OSCE parliamentary delegation of Albania and a member of the Joint EU-Albania Parliamentary Committee.
He has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs (2013-2017) and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs (2017-2019).
Previously he chaired the Parliamentary Committee for European Integration (2011-2013) and was a member of the Joint EU-Albania Parliamentary Committee (2009-2013).
Bushati is elected Member of the Steering Committee of the Socialist Party of Albania, since 2011.
He is a Council Member of the European Council on Foreign Relations.
