Ayelet Carmeli is a Ph.D. candidate in political science at MIT. Her dissertation research examines the historical development and transformation of savings as a form of both social and economic policy.
Ayelet is a qualified lawyer in Israel, and holds an LL.B. and a B.A. in history, as well as an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She has previously served as a law review student editor in both institutions, as well as a research coordinator and assistant in projects relating to social policy.
