Against the backdrop of 21st-century challenges like global crises, political polarization, and cultural shifts, this discussion will explore how public art and education in Berlin’s memorial culture can serve as tools for rethinking and strengthening transatlantic relations between Europe and the United States. Experts from art, politics, and education will examine how Berlin’s memory culture, through public art and historical education, can evolve to offer diverse perspectives on key historical events and their contemporary relevance.
