Against the background of lasting, structural imbalances, trade has become contentious, also across the Atlantic.
Berend Diekmann and Hans-Helmut Kotz will examine the main conflicts in EU-US trade relations. They have been simmering for a while but came to the fore only over the last couple of years. Focusing on underlying reasons for these tensions, options for cooperative solutions will be assessed.
The seminar will be chaired by Karl Kaiser and a light lunch will be served at 12:00pm.
