Yukako Otori is a Ph.D. student in history at Harvard University. Her current research explores the development of American
and international child labor laws. She is a recipient of the CES Krupps
Foundation Graduate Dissertation Research Fellowship and a junior visiting
fellow of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies
(IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University
of Tokyo and an AM from Harvard.
