E. Fuat Keyman is Professor of International Relations, Vice President for Institutional Affairs and Social Impact, and Director of the Istanbul Policy Center (IPC) at Sabancı University. His research interests include democratization, globalization, international relations, civil society, urbanization, and identity politics, as well as Turkey’s foreign policy and relations with the US and EU. He is the author and editor of more than twenty books, both in English and in Turkish. He has directed and conducted Turkish, European, and global research projects. He is a member of Turkish Academy of Sciences; is part of the executive and advisory boards of many respected international institutions, journals, and think thanks; and has received a number of domestic and international academic, scientific, and vision awards.
