Join Madeline Levy as she presents her analysis of how the Nazi Party and State mobilized the concept of the "sacred" in Hitler Youth materials, such as the publication series entitled Blätter für die Heimabendgestaltung, and in their approach to education, as they sought to instill a fervent nationalism in their next generation. In contributing both to religious studies and to the historical study of the Nazi era, Levy advances the understanding of German history and of relationships between religion and nationalism more broadly.
