This workshop is split into two parts and will cover methods in archival and interview-based research for your senior thesis. This will be a great chance to solidify your research question and mode of inquiry at an early stage of your thesis research. We will cover methodologies for both virtual and on-site research.

Writing a senior thesis can be a daunting task. For Harvard College students interested in writing a senior thesis, the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) offers the Thesis Workshop for Juniors to navigate them through this process. This session is part of this workshop series designed to help students:

  • Build fundamental skills for writing a successful thesis.
  • Offer best methods and practices for remote learning and research.
  • Showcase the work of seniors who are completing their research.
