The Russian invasion of Ukraine presents a scale of challenges to political stability in the West unseen since 1945. Deacceleration of economic growth and disturbances in reliable energy supplies are testing alliances, public support of government measures, and loyalty to democratic principles in Europe and beyond.

This event is hosted by the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School and is co-sponsored by the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) and the Center for Public Leadership. CES invites members of the Harvard community to register with the Institute of Politics (IOP) to attend a discussion moderated by Grzegorz Ekiert and Prime Minister Plenković at John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum. If a seat is not available, registrants can stream the event live via the social media channels of the Institute of Politics.
