About

To celebrate the strong ties between France and Harvard University, the Consulate General of France in Boston is partnering with the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies (CES) and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) to host France Day at Harvard.

Join us for the first edition on Thursday, September 26, 2019. This one-day program will include roundtable discussions with American and French professors from leading academic institutions, including Harvard University, Sciences Po, and Université Paris Sciences & Lettres. Discussions will focus on defining issues in today’s world: scientific revolutions, inequality, information and liberal democracy.

The day will conclude with a concert at Memorial Church for Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris by the Boston Camerata Ensemble and the Chorale Fellows interpreting 12th century music created at Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris.
